If you were to bite into me like a doughnut, your first mouthful would taste of technology, politics, strategy, corporate finance and business.

These are all things I have spent time mastering.

Your second mouthful, closer to the centre, would reveal creativity - problem solving, generative thinking and making stuff - and leadership, nurturing others and qualitative judgement.

These are the backbone that I have built my professional life on.

And on your third mouthful, at the jam in the centre, you’d taste writing.

Writing is my core, the thing that has held my working days together as I have moved through my career.

So, it is to writing that I have returned. I’ve done lots of different things over the years (see below) but when you get to the jam, I’m a writer and I’m a creative.
